Is a 2.4m backdrop the right size for your stand?

Most frames in this range that come in a 2.4m width measure 2.4m W x 2.3m H. That fits neatly across the back of a standard 3x3m trade show booth or expo stand. It leaves roughly 30cm spare on each side for cables, a bag or a pull-up banner, with floor space left for a table or counter in front.

3x3m booth: a 2.4m wall gives full brand coverage without crowding the side walls or your neighbour's stand.
Market stall or pop-up shop: the frames are freestanding, so they stand behind your table rather than on it. Measure the depth of your pitch before choosing a curved or 0.3m-deep pop-up model.
Event photo wall: 2.4m is wide enough to frame two or three people for sponsor or step-and-repeat photos.

Tension fabric

A tension fabric backdrop is a printed fabric sleeve stretched over a tube frame, giving a smooth face with no panel joins. It is a light, budget-friendly route to a 2.4m media wall, with straight, curved, square-corner and step-and-repeat versions.

Pop-up

Pop-up walls such as the Portable Straight Fabric Pop-Up Wall use a folding frame that opens out in one piece, then takes a fabric graphic. They sit 0.3m deep, which gives the wall more presence behind a counter.

SEG

SEG (silicone edge graphic) fabric has a thin silicone strip around its edge that presses into a channel in the frame for a crisp, framed look. Many SEG models are backlit lightboxes, which stand out in a busy hall but cost more.

What does a 2.4m backdrop stand cost, including reprints?

Every frame-based product lists a complete price, covering frame and printed graphic, plus a replacement print only price for when your branding changes but the frame is still in good shape. That second figure matters if you exhibit every year: the frame becomes a one-off cost and each new campaign is just a new print.

Can one person put up a portable backdrop stand?

In most cases, yes. Most frame-based displays here are tool-free and ship with a soft carry bag, so the person who loads the car can usually build the stand too.

Tension fabric: join the frame sections, stand the frame upright, then slide the printed sleeve over and close it.
Pop-up: open the folding frame out in one piece, lock it into shape, then attach the fabric graphic.
SEG: build the frame, then press the silicone edge of the graphic into its channel, working around the edges.

Compared with 4m to 6m walls, a 2.4m frame has less to carry and handle, which makes it a sensible size for a solo exhibitor at a market, conference or community expo. A second pair of hands still speeds things up if one is available.
