Which trade show accessories does your stand actually need?

Most stands feel unfinished for one of five reasons: there is nowhere to show products, nowhere for brochures, no screen, flat lighting or no safe way to move the kit. Start with that gap rather than the full range, and choosing trade show accessories gets much quicker.

  • Screens and tablets: the TV Mount with Side Table from NZD 482, or the Multi-Device Media Display Stand from NZD 307.

Will booth accessories fit the display you already own?

Fit is the biggest worry with exhibition accessories, so match the add-on to your frame type before you look at price.

SEG frames

The Brochure Stand for SEG Frames is made to sit with SEG systems. The SEG Popup Display with TV Mount & External Shelves starts from NZD 1280. It comes in sizes from 0.77m W x 3m H (1*4) to 3m W x 3m H (4*4), and every size is 0.4m deep.

Pop-up walls

The Portable Straight Pop-Up Wall with Shelves starts from NZD 787. It is available from 1.5m W x 2.3m H (2*3) to 6m W x 2.3m H (8*3), all 0.3m deep, and the shelving is built into the wall.

Tension fabric and media walls

Media wall accessories include the Media Wall with Accessories, from NZD 528 in widths from 2m W to 6m W at 2.3m H. You can also add the Overlap stand from NZD 681 or the Modular Straight Tension Display with Neon Lights from NZD 787.

Freestanding pieces such as counters, shelf towers and the zig zag or S-shaped brochure stands do not attach to your frame. That makes them the safest choice when you are unsure about fit. For anything that connects to an existing exhibition stand, note your frame model and dimensions and ask the team to confirm before you order.

Should you buy trade show add-ons or a complete kit?

If you already own a backdrop or pop-up, one add-on is usually the better spend. A counter or brochure stand fills a visible gap without paying again for walls you already have. If you are starting from an empty 3x3m or 6x3m space, a kit gives you the wall, shelving and screen mounts in one order, and everything matches.

Complete versus replacement print only

Many items show two prices. The complete price includes the frame and the printed graphic. Replacement print only means the fabric graphic without the frame. That option is useful when you rebrand or want a second design for a frame you already own.

How do you combine shelves, screens and lighting on one stand?

Visitors take in a trade show booth in seconds. The most effective display accessories put products at eye level and keep a screen visible from the aisle. Several units combine shelving and a TV mount in one footprint, which saves floor space on a small expo stand.

Which trade show carry cases suit your kit?

Most frame-based displays already ship with a soft carry bag, and that is fine for occasional events. If your kit travels in a ute or courier van several times a year, a hard case protects frames and folded graphics better. Match the case to your kit size, and check that any shelves or TV mounts will pack in alongside the frame.

  • For smaller items, choose a Premium Nylon Transport Bag after checking its dimensions.
  • For a 3m kit, choose the Plastic Hard Carry Case - Holds 3m Kits.

How do you get exhibition stand accessories ready before the event?

  1. Shortlist two or three items. Check each product page for sizes and the production lead time, which is often 24 business hours after artwork approval.
  2. If the item needs to fit an existing display, send your frame details and ask the team to confirm fit.
  3. Request a free 2D mockup for any printed item. Nothing prints until you approve the artwork.
  4. Plan a quick build before show day. Most frame-based displays are tool-free.

Graphics are dye-sublimation printed on fabric, and PVC-free options such as 600D eco polyester are available. Any print error is reprinted free. Standard, non-custom items can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are unused and in their original packaging. Custom-printed graphics cannot be returned after proof approval. If timing is tight, mention your event date when you ask for a quote. Backdropsource has made custom printed fabric displays since 2004.
